Latino Flavor

So a few months ago, towards the beginning of the semester, I was studying in my fraternity’s office in the Union (yes, a fraternity- it’s a community service co-ed fraternity) and I heard mariachi music playing from the Union’s courtyard outside. Curious, considering mariachi music does not randomly play in the Union, I went with my friend Katie outside to see what it was about.┬áThere was a line of tables set up with large plates of wonderful smelling food and a small mariachi band playing in the corner. There was a large line, though most people were only there because there was free food. It was really cool to be introduced to good, authentic Latino food and music and although I was not there for long, it was a great experience.
